A tiny Wonderland tearoom behind a red door: homemade cakes, sourdough toasties and good coffee. Dogs very welcome.

Down the Rabbit Hole
Step through the deep red door and duck under the old beams. Inside, the tearoom is black and white Wonderland: chequered tables, smashed teacups on the walls, playing cards and higgledy-piggledy signposts.
It's small and full of character, made for a slow coffee, a slice of something homemade and a proper chat.
Meet Maddy
Queen of Tarts is run by Maddy and her daughter, who opened the doors on 20 July 2026. Visitors keep mentioning the same things: a warm welcome, homemade cakes, good coffee and a tearoom full of character.
Pop in, say hello to Maddy, and stay a while.
